In a market of fintechs speaking in jargon and complexity, we went the other way. Less is more.

An experience democratizing cryptocurrency investment for a generation eager for financial freedom but blocked by industry complexity.

Continuous discovery revealed that newer generations possess higher financial literacy yet remain blocked by investment platforms' alien language.

Our strategy: total focus on the information that matters, reducing cognitive load from users and enabling Satoshi to achieve its goal: make investing a no-bullshit, engaging experience for all. For users, this meant:

  1. Design journeys with one decision at a time (especially onboarding)

  2. Present cryptocurrency alongside traditional options without unnecessary complexity

  3. Create a risk-free environment for practice

Carefully crafted tokens and components form the basis of the streamlined, consistent experience.

  • Dual visual languages differentiating real-money and sandbox environments

  • Consistent component states maintaining mode awareness

  • Visual hierarchy elevating only decision-critical information

With usability validation, we demonstrated that financial complexity doesn't require complex design. By focusing on what matters, we created an experience that removes barriers rather than reinforces them.
